I agree with the quote because every choice we make gets us closer to our fate. this can be clearly seen when Percy reads the great prophecy. "A half~blood of the eldest Gods shall reach sixteen against all odds,and see the world in endless sleep. The hero's soul, cursed shall reap. A single choice shall end his days". with his decision he will decide the worlds Fate.
