Isabel Allende said "Heart is what drives us and determines our fate". Like in the book The last Olympian Percy is the main character he is also Poseidon son. I agree with the quote because every choice we make gets us closer to our fate. this can be clearly seen when Percy reads the great prophecy. "A half~blood of the eldest Gods shall reach sixteen against all odds,and see the world in endless sleep. The hero's soul, cursed shall reap. A single choice shall end his days". with his decision he will decide the worlds Fate.

I Am Percy

I Am Poseidon's son.
I wonder what life would be without hero's.
I hear the ocean calling my name.
I see the evil being defeated. 
I want to be at peace.
I am strong and powerful.


I pretend I never need help but I really do.
I feel the strength flowing through my vains.

I worry for my family.

I got this book because I really like anything that is about people with powers, and the fate that Percy Jackson  is Poseidon son.
I think Percy with defeat his enemy Kronos.

I think the quote is saying that any one can be a hero.
You just have to work hard to achieve you goal. I agree with the quote, because I think my dad is a hero he worked hard for his family. He found work when no one would give a 16 year old a job, so yes I believe a hero is some one who endures overwhelming obstacles.
